About me
Dawn Wisdom has been teaching music for 27 years, 21 of them as vocal music director at Cheyenne Mountain High School. She serves as the chair of vocal music for the Colorado Springs District 12 schools and directs six choral ensembles at CMHS. She serves on the board of the Colorado Music Education Association as a District 5 vocal council representative, and previously as Chair-Elect and Chair.
Dawn has been a clinician, guest conductor and adjudicator in several states.
The Cheyenne Mountain High School choirs have traveled to state, national and regional festivals earning consistent superior ratings under her direction.
CMHS A Cappella groups Crimson & Slate have been successful over the years in various events including AEA, and ICHSA- where they have been in the national final eight times. Crimson & Slate have opened for several professional groups, and performed in fun venues around the country. They just did a show last week at Universal Citywalk in Orlando, FL.
We are thrilled to be returning to the AEA National Championship and Convention!
